1.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you register for or use the Service, we collect:

- Billing information: payment details processed securely through Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
- Product and catalogue data: the product information, URLs, and competitor domains you provide for monitoring
- Communications: messages you send to our support team or via in-app chat
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Service, we automatically collect:
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, actions taken, session duration
- Device and browser information: browser type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers
- Log data: server logs including timestamps, error reports, and API request details
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6 below
1.3 Information from Third Parties
If you connect your Shopify, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce store, we receive product catalogue and store information from those platforms in accordance with your authorisation. We also receive standard authentication information if you use Google SSO to register.

- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send you email alerts, digest reports, and notifications you have configured
- Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account
- Improve the Service through usage analytics and performance monitoring

- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity, security incidents, and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions
03Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance: processing necessary to provide the Service you have subscribed to
- Legitimate interests: analytics, security monitoring, fraud prevention, and product improvement, where these do not override your rights

05Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your account:
- Your account data is retained for 30 days to allow for account recovery
- After 30 days, your personal data is deleted from our active systems
- Certain data may be retained longer where required by law (e.g. billing records for tax compliance)
Aggregated and anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Pricerr operates globally. Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside your own, including countries that may not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction. Where we transfer data internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as required by applicable law.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

10Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.
11Third-Party Links & Integrations
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or allow integrations with third-party platforms (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you connect to.
12Marketing Communications
We may send you product updates and promotional emails. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at privacy@pricerr.io. Even after unsubscribing from marketing, we may still send you transactional messages related to your account (e.g. billing notices, security alerts).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
